About this Printer
HP LaserJet Pro MFP M29w is a laser printer that will continue to be one of the most practical choices for use in the home or office. The M29w is known as an All-in-One printer, which means that apart from printing, you can also scan and copy documents. However, you cannot print in color or print on both sides of the page at the same time.
Unfortunately, because the M29w does not have an automatic document feeder (ADF), any documents scanned or copied must be placed front-side down on the glass plate before they can be processed. But instead, HP has designed this printer to be compact enough for a laser printer. In addition, it prints quickly, at a speed of 19 pages per minute.
The HP Smart app, which comes standard on most HP printers, makes printing easy from mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets. In addition, the printer can connect to a network via Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, or USB.
Original replacement cartridges cost about $50, while cartridges manufactured by a third party cost about $35. Each cartridge has the capacity to print approximately two reams of paper or 1,000 pages. The recommended monthly volume for HP printers is between 100 and 1,000 pages.
