About this Printer

HP LaserJet Pro MFP M227fdw PrinterHP LaserJet Pro MFP M227fdw is equipped with excellent software assistance, this sleek and professional MFP produces documents quickly, silently, and with incredible accuracy. However, keep in mind that this is a mono printer and an expensive replacement toner cartridge.

This multifunction printer (MFP), has a paper capacity of 250 sheets and a print speed of 30 pages per minute, is made as productive as possible. Convenient features like scanning to email, duplex printing, and wireless connectivity for up to five users also make it easier to use and share.

HP LaserJet Pro M227fdw configuration and connectivity went smoothly. Follow the direct instructions in the user guide until it’s time to download the software on your PC or Mac.

The print copies produced by the M227fdw are excellent. Even when printing at 28 pages per minute, black text on white paper looks great. The efficiency of this printer is also shown by being careful in applying toner. In fact, HP estimates that one toner cartridge will produce 30,000 pages.

While printing photos and diagrams on a monochrome printer can be disappointing at times, black-and-white prints do contain a lot of shadows and subtle details. Even with a high quality resolution of 1,200 x 1,200 dpi, prints appear instantly.

Although scanning is a bit slower and, for some reason, the resolution is limited to 600 x 600 dpi, at least in full color. You can decide whether you want the resulting PDF, JPG, TIFF, or PNG file saved to a USB drive or sent to you via email.
