Printer Specifications
HP LaserJet 1300 is a monochrome laser printer made for home and office use. Even though he looks dainty and weighs no more than 16 pounds. While convenient, this device is limited to monochrome printing. Look into the HP Color LaserJet Pro M254dw if you want to print in color.
The LaserJet 1300 printer has a first page out time of less than 10 seconds and a maximum page output speed of 20 pages per minute. In fact, the print quality is so high because of this technology that it can reach up to 1200 dpi. While the print quality appears to be perfect for text, printing photos is a different story.
Installation of the included HP LaserJet 1300 mono toner cartridge and removal of the printer’s front access panel are prerequisites to utilizing the machine. There is a choice between a replacement cartridge with a page yield of 2,500 pages and one with a greater yield of 4,000 pages. The slot for the paper tray is conveniently located here, beneath the drawer.
The regular paper input tray on a base model can take up to 260 pages, while the manual tray can hold up to 10 more. This printer supports an optional 250-sheet paper tray, one of many possible upgrades. Requiring only one or two paper reloads, this tray can handle even the most extensive printing jobs. Unless you want to manually flip the paper over, there is no easy way to print on both sides of a page at once.
The HP LaserJet 1300 printer drivers can be easily installed in Windows computers or Mac OS. The LaserJet 1300 series drivers and software also compatible for HP LaserJet 1300, LaserJet 1300n, and LaserJet 1300xi.
